OUR VOLUNTEERS

We are very lucky to have an amazing team of over 50 volunteers working with us, some of whom have been here for over 15 years.

We have many different volunteering roles at the Trust, eg: Charity Shop, Mini Bus Driver, Kitchen Assistant, Front of House Lunch Club Assistant and Office Reception work , all of which are vital in enabling us to continue to fulfill our role.

CHARITY SHOP ASSISTANT

Our delightful purpose built shop is open five days a week - Monday to Friday and we are always on the lookout for volunteers to join our happy, friendly team.

Duties include sorting and rotating stock, welcoming and assisting customers, and includes handling cash, giving change and cashing up at the end of the shift.

This role would suit a retired or semi-retired person. Full training would be provided.

KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Food preparation staff and cooks are needed for 3.5 hours each week on Tuesdays to help with our Lunch Club for some of the elderly and isolated residents of Seaford.

We are one of the few weekly Lunch Clubs in the area who are still providing this valuable service and we are always looking for volunteers to keep it going.

Another role that would suit a retired or semi-retired person. Full training would be provided.
